Here’s evidence that shows that “Fifty Shades of Grey isn’t just “harmless fantasy.” It fuels real life sadomasochism and prostitution. ~~~
[TRPWL] – Sheri’s Ranch, the legal brothel and sex resort located outside of Las Vegas, has seen an increased interest in its BDSM services since the release of the book Fifty Shades of Grey in 2011, and anticipates an even greater interest with the release of the film adaptation in early 2015.
The massive success of E. L. James “mommy porn” series has resulted in a 5% boost in bookings of the brothel’s BDSM suite, where courtesans provide, among other things, introductory training in sadomasochistic erotic acts involving dominance and submission.
Dena, the brothel’s madam, directly attributes this jump in BDSM reservations to the book’s success, since more and more women are enquiring about the services.
“It’s not a coincidence that more women and couples between the ages of 35 and 50 are booking our dungeon room. The 50 Shades of Grey book has introduced many women to bondage and discipline, and a percentage of those readers would like to act on their interests. Sheri’s provides a safe and private environment for women to experiment with the world of BDSM, and we anticipate the film will generate even more curiosity.”
“The trailer for the film adaptation of the Fifty Shades of Grey book became the most watched trailer of the year in less than one week. If the trailer is any indication, this film will have an even greater effect on our business than the book had,” said Dena.
——————–
Well, there you have it folks! The book and film are indeed “just fiction”, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t impact real people’s behavior in real life.
“Fifty Shades” actually DOES influence people to engage in REAL LIFE SADISM AND MASOCHISM — and sometimes prostitution — in addition to bondage, discipline, domination and submission. (All of the practices that the acronym “BDSM” stands for.)
So, the next time you hear someone saying, “It’s just a book!”, or “It’s just a movie!”, feel free to share this post with them…

NOTE: If you’d like to check out or reference the full article, scroll down to the posts from August 8, 2014 on the page below. (It is a reposting of the original article, which is at a site with porn ads, so we didn’t want to put a link to that.)
Pretty crazy and disturbing! But Gail does an excellent job in the face of being continually interrupted, insulted, and told repeatedly how “judgmental” she’s being to critically analyze pornographic and violent media and its harmful effects….
The “Fifty Shades of Grey trailer is out and Gail Dines explains in her new article that it’s NOT a “sexy romance,” but rather a sad and tragic tale of ABUSE.
The most likely real-world ending of Fifty Shades of Grey is fifty shades of black and blue. The awful truth in the real world is that women who partner with a Christian Grey often end up hightailing it to a battered women’s shelter with traumatized kids in tow. The less fortunate end up in graveyards.
Right! Feel free to pass this article along to anyone you know who thinks Fifty Shades is just a harmless love story of a rich handsome man in love with a sweet and innocent young woman, who just likes a bit of “kinky fun” in the bedroom…
Also, if you’d like to learn more about the harms of Fifty Shades of Grey in general, feel free to check out our page on this issue at our website. Thanks!
PLEASE WATCH this thought-provoking video below on the very serious harms of sadomasochism, created by our friend “R-Luv” at the StarrPowerWomen channel at YouTube. It includes a very powerful original poem written and read by R-luv, which is also posted below, as well as lots of informative content demonstrating how harmful, dangerous and sometimes DEADLY BDSM can be.
Please note that the majority of pornography is now sadomasochistic, and that the violent, risky and degrading BDSM scenarios that are said to be “just acting” in porn, (but which are sometimes very real), are often lived out IN REAL LIFE on prostituted, trafficked and raped women and children, as well as on the pressured and coerced female partners of sadistic porn-addicted and porn-fueled men.
MUST READ POETRY AND INFO FROM VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
R-luv Spoken Word Poetry on topic of brutality in BDSM sexual assault crimes like the murder of Brittany Killgore RIP…
I’m not down for this pain & pleasure trend
I like a man that’s just plain genuine
It sounds like villains who make pain their pleasure whatever happen to simple love & cherish
what’s up with all the whips & chains & high risks when I would rather settle for a passionate kiss
why is torture yearned for instead of love
I rather just have a hug
I don’t need to choke I don’t need to act like a lowlife animal
treat me like a lady plain & simple….
So don’t let no man make you go on all fours
there’s a war of respect ragin for all women
stand up speak out for our mute victimized dehumanized souls
may brutality cease
God bless you…Peace
♥Hearts out!!

Brittany Kilgore BDSM murder news story:
“Brittany Killgore murder suspects killed to satisfy sexual fetishes, documents say”
As “Fifty Shades of Grey” has made popular headlines you must be informed of facts concerning ALL ABOUT BDSM SADOMASOCHISM!!
THE RISKS OF BDSM….
BDSM activity, even where clearly consensual, can be and frequently is prosecuted under state criminal laws dealing with assault, aggravated assault, sexual assault or sexual abuse. Such criminal prosecution can arise in various circumstances, including:
— The BDSM “scene” turns out to be more intense or painful or harmful than the submissive participant anticipated, and she or he goes to the police.
— Injury is caused that is sufficiently serious or sufficiently visible that it is brought to the attention of the police by an observer, by hospital personnel or by a friend or relative of the submissive participant.
— The police raid a BDSM event and observe conduct that they interpret as unlawful.
A BDSM relationship ends, leaving the submissive partner with bad feelings, and he or she complains to the police about assault or abuse.
— Someone with a grudge against a participant in the BDSM scene or relationship makes a complaint to the police.
— Or pictures, videos, emails, film or sound recordings of BDSM conduct somehow come into the hands of the police.
